Who we are

Ten Degrees ("we," "us," "our") provides home and office automation services in the Indianapolis metro area.

What we collect

  • Form details you provide: name, email, phone, project notes, and preferred times when you contact us or book a consultation.
  • Service metadata: your request’s IP address and user‑agent may be logged by our hosting provider when you submit a form (standard server logs).

We do not collect payment information on this website and we do not run third‑party analytics scripts or advertising pixels.

How we use your information

  • To respond to inquiries and schedule consultations.
  • To send transactional messages (e.g., confirmations) from "Ten Degrees" <no-reply@tendegrees.co>.
  • To maintain the security and reliability of our services (for example, via basic server logging).
  • To comply with legal obligations.

How our forms work

Our site is a static Astro website hosted on AWS Amplify. When you submit a form, your details are securely sent to our AWS Lambda endpoint and then delivered to our inbox via AWS Simple Email Service (SES). We do not keep a separate database of submissions in production.

Sharing and service providers

We share data only with vendors who help us run the site and deliver your messages, such as:

  • Hosting and content delivery: AWS Amplify and CloudFront.
  • Email delivery: AWS Simple Email Service (SES).

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and tracking

We don’t set advertising cookies or use third‑party tracking pixels. Any cookies set by our hosting (if any) are strictly necessary for site performance and security.

Data retention

We retain emails and related correspondence for as long as necessary to serve you and operate our business, or as required by law. You can request deletion at any time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures and rely on AWS’s security controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your choices

  • Access, update, or delete: Email us and we’ll help with any request related to your information.
  • Communications: We send transactional emails related to your inquiry or booking. We don’t send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Children’s privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll adjust the date at the top and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
